North Liberty Blues & BBQ

Blues & BBQ is North Liberty’s summer tradition of live music, kids’ fun, mouthwatering barbecue and Iowa craft beer. Admission, parking and inflatables are free thanks to the generosity of our presenting sponsors. The festival is coordinated by the North Liberty Community Betterment Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The planning committee is made up of business leaders, city representatives and North Liberty residents.

North Liberty’s summer tradition returns for its 17th year of music, food, and fun for all ages. The Main Squeeze will headline the day of live, blues-inspired music programmed in partnership with The Englert Theater. The Main Squeeze is a multicultural five-piece from Los Angeles, that have built a following in the States on the road – putting rubber to pavement and playing over 1,000 shows together over the past nine years. They are lauded across North America and Europe’s live music circuit and have toured and played with the likes of George Clinton & The Parliament Funkadelic, String Cheese Incident, Umphrey’s McGee, Marcus King, Big Gigantic, and more.
